For each service requiring a resume, visiting clients will receive a bound document on inkjet printed quality résumé paper, a separate white loose leaf copy and emailed document/s. Visiting clients are very welcome to provide their own USB card which can be used to save their MS Word resume document. For other clients outside the Illawarra, Sydney, South Coast or Southern Highlands regions or either interstate or overseas, an email facility is available, subject to receiving the relevant information.

Payment for any Ready Resumes service is either by:

  1. Australian cash
  2. Australian bank cheque made payable to "Ready Resumes"
  3. EFT (electronic funds transfer) direct into an Australian business bank account
  4. Credit Card facility via an emailed invoice with payment being made through a secure website called Paypal (internationally recognised safe payment facility) - ideal for Australian and Overseas customers. 

Once full payment is received, clients receive their resume critique (by email) or their final resume document/s.

Please note, that due to increased interest, it may not be possible to service every customer with a professionally written resume. So to help solve this dilemma, and satisfy genuine customers, Ready Resumes has developed 2 cost effective options i.e. either a resume critique service or résumé software. The software (information sent via email attachments) has been uniquely created, based on actual clients, whose resumes and cover letters have won interviews and jobs.

A large majority of "Ready Resumes" clients achieve instant success and refer their colleagues, families and friends to the business, because of the quality resumes produced. A number of reputable local recruitment/employment companies such as Edmen, Focus Personnel, Butler and Pollock, Essential Personnel, Mission Australia, Employment Plus (Salvation Army) and Select Appointments, have referred their clients to "Ready Resumes", because of the comprehensive service provided and the positive results achieved. 1) A long term unemployed youth, sent their new resume and covering letter to only 15 local companies and one employer was so impressed with the quality of their documentation that they said.... Following production of the Youth Work resume, the above client then applied for a position as a Senior Case Worker, requiring an intensive Selection Criteria Application. This was the first job the client had applied for, in over 10 years. Only one job was applied for which required the client's resume, covering letter and selection criteria statement. This led to one interview and an immediate offer of a job. The client never needed to apply for any other job and started the next week!

3) A resume was produced for an unemployed school leaver who wanted to work in the hospitality industry. The resume was submitted to a new waterfront restaurant/function centre, in response to an advertised position. The client was contacted and given an interview out of 250 applicants.

8) A tradesman obtained his first interview in 25 years, based on a skills based resume from "Ready Resumes" . He was "offered the job" but declined the position as it wasn't quite right for him. Not long after this, he "chucked" his job and found plenty of contract work with engineering recruitment companies. He then upgraded his training and came back to update his resume. The client received an improved résumé layout and within no time, secured a fantastic job in mining, which was more rewarding and extremely well paid. 9) A mother wanting to return to the workforce, sent her new resume to a prospective employer who then contacted her and said "You could probably do my job". 10) A graduate who had retail and office administration experience, sent her cover letter and resume to a number of law firms based in Sydney. 11) A golf professional needed a new resume and a tailored covering letter with a detailed selection criteria response for an advertised position, which was outside the region. The final documents (representing approx. 50 hours of work) were emailed a day before the closing date. That same day, the organisation contacted the client, for an interview. 12) Ready Resumes (Sharon Cousins) helped with job searching and a resume writing service, as a temporary "Recruitment Consultant" to clients of an occupational and rehabilitation company in Wollongong. Clients who were on workers compensation (following work related injuries) received effective resumes and cover letters which resulted in increased client motivation, interviews and job offers. 13) A Human Resources Manager in Sydney, responsible for over 1,000 hospitality staff, contacted Ready Resumes following a referral from an existing client (who had secured an executive appointment based on their new resume). The HR Manager had seen countless numbers of resumes through their own job role, but wanted a personally constructed professional resume, in order to secure a better position. An "Executive Level" resume was produced, based on complex information, resulting in over 30 hours of research, writing and editting, including the initial client consultation.

14) A young woman who had retail experience and varied school/work achievements, wanted a career in office administration in Canberra. The client provided Sharon Cousins with a lot of useful information. Utilising some relevant and successful resumes from the "Ready Resumes collection", Sharon was able to tailor a quality resume document. The work involved over 18 hours to complete, which included the 3 hour consultation needed to sift through the information provided. But the results were amazing!!! Following the completed draft resume, the client sent back an email to Ready Resumes.... "Sharon, Please go ahead with the resume. I have read over it and am more than happy with it. I also had my dad read over it and he said to congratulate you and thankyou on the amount of time and effort put into it. 15) A client who came from an administration and accounts background, was recently advised that after nearly 20 years of service with the same employer, she was being made redundant.  The client immediately contacted local resume writers and decided to choose Ready Resumes. 16) A client who had just emigrated with their family from South Africa was recommended to contact "Ready Resumes" in order to obtain a professional resume. The client was able to provide quality information which helped produce a highly effective resume. Based on some job seeking advice and research on Australian job sites from "Ready Resumes", the client found a job advertised in Sydney (on the internet). With their new professional executive resume, the client was able to secure an interview and was then offered the job, just before Christmas. The client started in the new year, 2009. A great result considering the client had only emigrated to Australia in October, 2008.
